It is a pleasure to present this pilot module for Mister Josh's Neighborhood.

In this episode, Mr. Josh takes a trip to the Recital Hall to perform Jingle Bells and teaches several of the fundamental basics to grant a foundational understanding toward begin able to play Jingle Bells on the violin.

This video is the first in a set of three upcoming videos and introduces students to the concepts that will be reviewed for success as they are practicing.

There is an introduction to playing an A Major Scale, Quarter Note and Half Note Reading and Rhythmic Training, and a quick introduction to the concept of down bows and up bows with symbolism and scores provided for note reading, graphic retention and interactivity with the video tutorials.
